almost like a decent human beinga Peacekeeper, falls in love with Tan Qi and wants to apologise to her--even if it means submitting to her whip.

Suddenly, he starts to unbutton his robe."What are you doing?" she asks, shocked but curious.
"You brought the whip," he says and shrugs off his shirts, letting them pool around his elbows. "I take it you mean to use it."
She stares into her cup--anything, so that she doesn't have to look at his naked chest and shoulders.
"It was a joke," she says. "I only brought it to keep you on your toes."
"As self-defense," he says, nodding. "In case I tried something."
"Are you trying something right now?"
But oh, how beautiful he looks in the lantern light, his kohled eyes twinkling, his smile curling into his moustache; his muscular arms and chest glow golden in the lantern light, scars--small and large, old and new--crisscrossing his body here and there.
He unbuckles his belt. "I am, again, trying to apologise, Miss Tan Qi. How do you want me?" he asks and smirks playfully. "For my whipping, that is."
She smiles, shaking her head. "I get the feeling you'd enjoy it too much."
