Summary
Dennis had a crush on his attending, okay? He ignored it for the most part, but Robby made it hard. Especially when he showed up where he wasn't supposed to be, a month ahead of schedule.
"I thought you weren't coming back for a while?" Dennis asked once he remembered how to talk.
Robby turned his kind eyes to him. "Not to work, no. I just got back from my trip and am spending the rest of my time home. Disappointed?" he teased.
Dennis gave a breathy laugh. "No way."
Robby didn't mention that he wasn't intending on coming back at all until having his mind changed by a very convincing email from Dr. Jefferson and an online therapist found by Abbot.
"I'm glad you're back," Dennis said before he could really think about how it sounded.
Robby smiled at him too sweetly, like he knew something Dennis didn't.
The instructor started talking, and Dennis suddenly remembered where he was. He listened to the best of his ability while actively losing his mind.
Making cookies was never so panic inducing.

Dennis signed up for a baking class, and Robby decided to come home from his trip after all. Surely, these two events won’t affect one another.
