Summary
You put as much distance as you possibly can between your abusive mother in your coastal home town, just to end up in White Pine Bay where a certain motel owner reminds you just how much of a stain you put on any parent's judgement. You don't expect to be anywhere but the sliver of nightlife the quaint town has to offer for the weekend, but something, or someone, keeps pulling you back to the motel, and up those fateful spiraling stairs.
