Swan Queen Winter Solstice 5 is a fic and art challenge set during the Northern Hemisphere winter of 2025-2026. Inspired by classic SQ events such as Supernova and Advent Calendar, our challenge seeks to promote creativity, productivity, and community during a part of the year that has traditionally been devoid of SQ fandom events.

I’d also like to invite Regina—” and here Emma’s heart skips several beats, because surely she heard it wrong— “to go as well, being the 9th grade English and Spanish teacher.” Mary Margaret grins like she’s created the best idea in the universe. Emma wants to jump out of the window, and for the first time since she started working here, she feels Regina is on the same wavelength, even as far apart as they are now.
