Summary
Clint would be lying if he said dinner wasn’t his favourite part of every day. If they were both home for dinner, this is how it would always play out. Phil would cook and bustle around the kitchen and Clint would sit on the new bar stool Phil had bought him (because he called Clint a brat every time he sat on the countertops) and they would talk about their days.
Clint is new to the city and needs a place to stay and Phil needs a new roommate. Everything would be perfect except Phil is dating Grant Ward, and Clint is dating Brock Rumlow.Series

Summary
Phil has been dating Grant for about a year when he meets Clint and the balance he thought he had goes out the window. Clint had a pretty simple emotional arc. Meet Phil. Fall in love with Phil. Pine over Phil. Finally get Phil.
Phil starts the story in what he thinks is a healthy relationship. He needs to learn a lot about who he is, what it means to be a good man, a good friend, and a good Daddy. He wants to be all of those things and that's hard when you are slowly but surely falling in love with your roommate while trying to take care of your boy. Then, once he finally gets his man (because if you are reading my fic you KNOW it's going to be end game Phlint) his eyes get opened to how much he has to learn about sex, love, and life.

I'm still working on the Phil POV of Knees, but this is not that story. (I'm sorry, please don't be disappointed)
Taking custody of Barney’s five year old son just a few years after getting together with Clint had not been part of Phil’s plan; but, one look at Clint’s heartbroken face when the social worker told him that the nephew he didn’t even know he had was going to be put into foster care, had been enough to make Phil want to move mountains to make sure his boy never looked that way again.
