He did of course think of other methods, there are so many. First he wanted to shoot himself; he knows he could have easily gotten his hands on a gun, but the thought of holding one in his hands – again - was causing him to feel dizzy, feel sick, and so he dismissed this. He thought about hanging himself, too, but if he’s being honest, and there is no need to lie to himself, not now, not anymore, he didn’t seriously consider it, because he’s scared. He’s so scared. The thought of being dead is a peaceful one to him, that’s nothing to be afraid of, he’s sure, it can’t possibly be worse than what being alive feels like. He does however fear the process of dying. No gallows for him.
