With each word, the fight left Ed. If he thought about telling them before for the selfish reason of wanting comfort, he sure as hell couldn’t tell them now. They were too busy dealing with all the other issues coming out of this. His admission that he was infected would only serve to distract and split the team even more. Besides, Havoc was right. They all had their part to play. His part was sifting through these stupid notes to come up with a cure. Right now, they were a house of cards. If he left, the entire structure would come crumbling down. Migraine or not, numb hands or not, he had to keep his focus and do his job. People’s lives were at stake.
