Summary
He was the conqueror of 86 tribes, the Son of Mars, chosen by the gods to lead man out of the ashes of the Old World.
As the numbers swelled beneath the banners of the Legion, Caesar ordered the killing of his inner circle, men he could no longer trust, not with command, not with his old name or the true history he perverted.
Now he stands in the lengthening shadow of the Monster of the East, the Legate Lanius, who never read of Julius or Augustus in the old books, who never had any use for the written word at all. The Butcher's vision of the future is a grim hell he does not recognize, but Caesar has left no one alive that remembers another time.. or their original purpose.
Now his strength fails him and he needs an heir to restore the Legion's glory. The gods fail to grant him a child, and the sky burns with signs and portents. Fortuna gives her Wheel a spin, and only the Khan god Coyote knows where it lands. The remnants of the Enclave offer up an unlikely alliance, and the sibyl shrieks of the coming of the God of War, who walks the desert in the form of a First Recon man.
Only Vulpes Inculta is clever enough to find a way out, but the secrets he discovers could take a man's soul.

Summary
The courier was a good man, inoffensive, who limped and shuffled from town to town, drawing letters or packages out of his long pockets, bringing well-wishes and gifts, news and postcards. He shook hands, kissed babies, and told wild stories about places he'd been to. It was easy to travel with him, an easy pace, sleeping under the stars or eating hot plates on kindly strangers' porches. He always said softly he didn't want trouble. He never wanted any trouble. At first they all figured him for a kindly older gentleman, some poor cripple who might have been a veteran.
But when the gang recovers two stealth devices from the nightkin, the courier cooks up one wild scheme after another to rescue NCR soldiers and bring justice to Vegas fiends. What started as running deliveries soon spirals into bounty hunting, with a mix of superior technology and ideas crazy enough to work. Boone goes from the bodyguard of a rag-tag wandering outfit to a wasteland enforcer, losing his grip on reality under the influence of the Stealth Boy, and troubled by nightmares of the dead, the courier must confront at last the secrets of his past.

The flood incites the Fiends to attack Vegas as the man recovers, and he assists Arcade in investigating what happened and then checking on the local Remnants to see how they fared in the attack, but the young stranger is not everything that he appears. He heals much faster than an ordinary person, he possesses incredible strength and heightened senses, and he harbors a secret to rival Arcade's own. But despite all the warning signs and suspicions, Arcade can't help but find the man charming.Series

The first chapter set up a lot of fairly important information, so I'd recommend at least skimming that, although I think that the first chapter is one of the worst as far as quality goes. I was working through emotions and running on next to no sleep for most of it. I may edit it, but I'm not yet sure how to make it work better.Series

Summary
The Legion gets their dogs from Denver. One day, they get something a bit different. (The setting is exactly the same as the games, aside from the addition of a group of skin walkers in Denver and subsequent canon divergence.)
Note: I don't notify of character death. If figured it would work better to use the other three archive warnings though.
Note: This is pretty dark, if the tags don't clue you in to that, it's gotten a bit darker than my typical work. Tags and Pairings will be changed and added to as this goes on. As this gets longer, I'd recommend DON'T READ THE TAGS IF YOU AREN'T CAUGHT UP. There will be spoilers in the tags. Fallout 4 is a bit of a spoiler in and of itself, but not a big one. This will eventually end up moving to the Commonwealth even though it starts in Denver.
I can't say this will or won't be as long as Some Other World, but I plan to make it novel-length. That might not happen, but I plan to.
I will probably make a fic for every possible game ending for Arcade. You'll find out which one this is when it gets there. Piebald is a different one, and I don't count my earlier fictions or Some Other World as they are too far from the canon of the universe. -

Three Dog, the GNR radio station’s loud-mouthed disc jockey, as always, has some news. While listening to the show, a bloodshed is about to be prepared. According to the news, another legend roams the Wasteland, as the Lone Wanderer got a rival, a mysterious and lonely Enclave eyebot is traveling through the land.
It is said that where that little white gadget shows up, there’s not the usual song, what can be heard, but one ode of the Enclave defeat.
A cornered ghoul group is listening to the show, but they completely lose hope, as they face a dark future. -
