Com a ajuda do casal Tanjirou Kamado e Giyuu Tomioka, Inosuke Hashibira foi para a cidade resolver alguns assuntos de sua fazenda. Acontece que Inosuke é completamente alheio a vida moderna na cidade grande, sendo um verdadeiro bicho do mato e criando confusões por onde passa com sua mania de resolver tudo com uma boa briga. Mas como o casal possui pouco tempo para acompanhar Inosuke, Tanjirou pede ajuda para seu vizinho e amigo Zenitsu Agtsuma, que devia favores para o ruivo. Mas Zenitsu percebe que não é tão simples assim, e se pega questionando que crime cometeu na vida passada para ter o castigo tão pesado que é lidar com o doido brutamontes marombado e caipira que é Inosuke.
