Summary
Joe arrives home late; he’s tired and pissed off after schmoozing potential new clients in the company of vile Ken. He hates that his precious energy is wasted on such banalities rather than focusing on the important work he and Ryan are doing, but he’s hopeful after this weekend and this new deal, that will all change.
To his great astonishment, his ex, Cameron Howe, is waiting at his door, and he wonders if his evening is about to get better or worse. He is more than a little intrigued as to why she is there. (S03E06)Warning: for sexual fantasties/reflections

Summary
Not that Joe doesn’t always seem larger-than-life. He does, always. He’s a blackhole for attention every time he walks in a room. And Ryan knows that he’s particularly susceptible, but he sees it in other people too, men and women. Joe is a magnet, a target for bending curves of attraction, invisible but as effective as an ocean undertow. And at least as dangerous.

Summary
Gordon didn’t notice it until after Joe had gone (the first time, after the truckful of burning computers), but once he did it was impossible to ignore. The way he would insert himself into Gordon’s space, as if calculating the minimum distance between them that would be considered comfortable and professional and then stepping just over that line.

Summary
Five times Ryan wanted it to be a date and five times Joe denied it.
Joe doesn’t argue, just orders them a combo popcorn and fishes for his wallet. It occurs to Ryan that Joe’s paying for everything and that makes his face hot with embarrassment. Does that mean—?
“Is this a date?” Ryan blurts.
It stills Joe from handing over a twenty-dollar bill, his eyes slowly sliding towards Ryan. Ryan swallows nervously, staring back with what he doesn’t realize is anticipated hope.
“No.”

Summary
Take place in current time (season 3, between episodes 8 and 9). This is what I think needs to happen next. Cameron is getting ready to move to Tokyo, but then she helps Joe, and now Ryan is gone. Joe is clearly blaming himself. Cameron looks into her closet and sees that its empty, and that emptiness feels like a mirror to her. But instead of running to Tom, she runs to Joe.

Summary
Takes place in current time, between episode 8 and episode 9. It involves Ryan Ray, Joe, and Cameron. This is how I think it should go.
Cameron tells Tom that she loves him over and over, and she married him. But when she looks into that closet, the emptiness is a mirror. Her head is spinning with the recent death of Ryan Ray, and the only thing that she can see clearly in all of the darkness surrounding her is the face of Joe Macmillan.
