After leaving Alabasta, Nami couldn’t stop thinking about Vivi and decided to return to her mid-sea. Besides, they still had a lot of time in their hands and Luffy was completely up for it -being the occasional dumbass he is-, so what’s the worst that could happen?
A lot. For Nami, at least.
About the time they almost got back to Alabasta was the time Nico Robin decided to make her appearance as the newest Straw Hat Pirate, which then makes some miscommunications between Nami and Vivi since… well… it’s been too recent since Crocodile was defeated so Robin is still Ms. All Sunday to Vivi.
Oh, and did I mention Luffy is not that stupid and gives Nami some ACTUALLY good advice eventually? Way to go, Luffy.
Discontinued until remake or heavy, and I mean heavy, editing.

They travel the grandline, writing up contracts and securing payment for Baroque Works’ dastardly deeds, caring for their dear den den mushi, and reporting directly to the mysterious Mr. Zero. It’s gone without a hitch so far, but not everyone has a head for fair negotiations, and they find themselves kidnapped by an overzealous steel magnate who thinks he wants to meet Mr. Zero.
