Leyley, who had no mother, no father (hah!), no friends, and no brother, once he fucked off to God’s nowhere to play pretend with people whom he didn’t even give a fuck about?

Andrew didn't respond immediately. He knew what the right answer was, but that wasn't the truth, was it? If they were the only people in the entire world, then there would be nobody to bother them. Nobody would judge them or ask questions, and they could live however they wanted... whatever that actually meant in practice.

He stared out at the road in front of them, his jaw clenched. What would happen after that? Would she be happy? Would he?
