Olympus, for once in forever, was baffled, sacred items? Missing. Gods could not touch other’s sacred items, and mortals would die at the slightest touch.
The Master Bolt, Poseidon’s Trident, Ares Spear, Athena’s helmet, Hades’ Helm, Aphrodite's shield, and Hephaestus’ newest creation, all missing.
The Olympians were confused, and albeit grudgingly impressed by whatever dared to steal from them. They had had a meeting, and went off to try and find their items.
Meanwhile, down in the mortal realm, eight godlings laughed together, playing with the items.
or, demigods die and get a second chance. they use it to become chaos gremlins.
