For some context Brian had never been good with crowds, never, it wasn’t that he didn’t get used to big crowds, he hated it, but tolerated due to his parents dragging him to parties that didn’t peak his interest, so in some way he was used to it. It was more of being an extreme introvert, the reason? Simple, His parents never allowed him to socialize even with kids his age. Blood trickled steadily from it, rolling down his face into his hair, catching on his nose, and bruises were already darkening along his skin underneath the growing pallor of his face. He looked– He looked like his life was draining from his face, looked like he was an inch from death even though she knew he couldn’t be. He was fine. He was– He had to be fine. “Mike! ""Will the Wise," Mike's voice matched the low lighting of the stale basement. Will watched as he reached his hand into the pocket of his jeans, his heart pounding, and pulled out a set of plastic teeth. Vampire teeth. Will could feel his pulse racing and his gaze intensifying further, darkening, as Mike popped the stupid set of fake teeth into his mouth. He hoped it looked more competitive than it felt. "The Dread Lord stares down from his throne," Mike murmured, eyes dancing around the table before landing back on Will. "He’s tasted the blood of your friends, their drained corpses lying at his feet. He's prepared himself for the inevitable chase when you run, scared and alone, for reinforcements." Mike's words are slurred and ridiculous and as infuriating as he is hot."

Mike grimaces, shaking his head a little. He hesitates, cheeks turning pink before he speaks again softly, but no less sure of himself. "No, wait, that's not what I meant. I meant like. . .more than friends. Not – not just friends.”
