Summary
Bilbo Baggins, in the last days of his life, departed Middle-earth bound for the blessed realm. Until the Valar intervene, offering him a chance to change history. He sets out to save the line of Durin and to prevent the ring from ever going to Frodo...but the Ring of Power has a will of its own, and its power is not one to be lightly thrown aside.

Another Battle of Five Armies fix-it, because we can never have too many stories where there is more to their story than death and grief. Though in this case, there is still some lingering grief. This timeline will be a mash-up of the book and movies, along with some lore and events from the later trilogy (LOTR), and assorted other Tolkien lore taken from various essays, works, and one very entertaining interview between Richard Armitage (Thorin) and Martin Freeman (Bilbo). Anyway, hope you all enjoy! -

“Accidents”, was Bilbo’s bland reply. “Preferably about a month after the initial confrontation if they haven’t apologized yet. It helps allay suspicion.”
Tomatoes used to be considered both poisonous and an aphrodisiac. Idea- it is impossible to poison a hobbit with anything less than a morgul blade. Discuss the Company’s reaction to watching Bilbo eat ‘poisonous’ things. Extra credit if dwarves actually believe salad will kill them.

Summary
Harry Potter is the light side's spoiled, pampered prince, or at least that is what Alexandria has always believed. Despite using the Tournament as a cover for her mission to find her father, she sees how easily everyone turns on Harry and finds herself unable to watch him suffer. After all, family is everything to a Black, and Alexandria Black is not going to let some idiots get her little brother killed.
Or: A dark pureblood witch comes into Harry's life and opens his eyes to the culture and politics of the Wizarding world and his place in it. He ends up surrounded by Slytherins and dark magic and finds he does not mind either one. Perhaps he is not the light side's saviour after all?
