Some months after the events at S-23 Sierpinski, a newly-fledged Falke and her companion are sent to oversee the Eusan Peoples' Navy's Forward Operating Base/Research Facility at K-33 Kerr, located on the dwarf planet Cassilda.
Aside from its position as the largest world in the main asteroid belt (the de facto border region between the Eusan Empire and the Eusan Nation), Cassilda's subsurface water makes it an invaluable staging ground and refueling site for vessels of the Volksmarine, and its remote nature makes it a prime spot for Bioresonance research.
Unbeknownst to the Eusan Nation, however, Cassilda hides secrets yet. Secrets all her own…
… And the personnel of K-33 Kerr go about their daily lives unawares, though they're sure to be the most directly affected— and involved.
Regardless, of course, life goes on, and the Replikas of the Volksmarine live and love the same as anyone else, no matter how strange the night— no matter how the shadows of their thoughts might lengthen.

Expect gentle fluff, goofy soldier girls, the quiet horror of living under German Space Tankies, the louder horror of violence and imperiled loved ones, the TRUE horror of figuring out how to tell your 8'2" adoring girlbestfriend that you're extremely in love with her, and the little moments of levity in-between all the horrors (and vice versa) that make life... life.

Ariane Yeong has suffered an unimaginable amount of agony. A body racked with cancerous tumors, radiation poisoning, and the knowledge that she will never dance with her wife again. Endless looping dreams filled her mind, all of them never truly ending her suffering yet always, always, more corrupted than the last. Finally, though, she witnessed the Ritual.
