SPOILERS OF THE NIGHTOUT ARC (AKA VOLUME 20 OF JSHK)
Context: Kou and Mitsuba were preparing for THE exorcism. In a “what if” scenario, where Kou fulfilled Mitsuba’s wish of the “Night out arc”. Having his existence being ended by his most important person, someone that actually would care about him being gone.
I wrote this RIGHT after finish reading the “Nightlife arc” it has been sitting in my drafts for MONTHS maybe almost a year…wow, anyways-! Enjoy! Sorry in advance.

Summary
(Based off the Disney on Broadway Freaky Friday musical)
The Festival is tonight, it was a huge carnival-like event that only happened once a year, and this is Kel’s one chance to finally bring home a big, shiny trophy and prove to his brother that he can win something. Simultaneously, Hero is extremely busy planning the 100th anniversary of Faraway Town, he is also due to have an interview with the mayor about this too.
But upon being denied permission to go to the Festival, the two get into a fight. Leading to a snow globe being broken and the two swapping bodies.
Kel and Hero are forced to experience a day in the other’s shoes, discovering secrets, lies, and truths, all the while trying to keep the situation under wraps.
Is blood truly thicker than water?
(((THIS STORY IS POST-CANON EVENTS OF THE GOOD ENDING!!!)))
(also, even though the title has ‘freaky’ in it, there is no smut, or sex…or any of that stuff. this is merely a funny fic.)

“Oh my god, it’s totally a love note,” Basil bursts out the moment the thought enters Sunny’s head. He lets out a sigh, choosing to ignore his friend again and tracing his thumb along the edge of the letter. There’s nothing about the envelope that gives any clues as to who could have delivered it, and the fact that it was typed means that he can’t try and pick them out by the handwriting. Which then means…
Well, what? Sunny supposes all it really means is that he’ll have to be up on the roof after school if he wants to find out who gave it to him. He tucks the letter and envelope into his binder, then closes his locker with a definitive huff. No point in thinking on it until later, then, if that’s the case. Not like dwelling is going to get him the answers he wants.
“Isn’t that exciting?” Basil asks, and really, Sunny thinks Basil might be more into this whole thing than he is. “You have a secret admirer! It’s like something out of a movie.”
