Summary
There are many things that one learns when living in a city. How to navigate the crowds, where the best food is, when you should leave to avoid traffic. Of course, the more the people, the more the cars.
Even more so, the bigger the city, the better the cars.
Enter: Flower-Fruit Motors (A long, long time ago the Great Sage Garage). A slice of paradise, hidden away on the edge of the industrial district. The average person would pass it by without a thought. But! The knowing person would stop and ogle. It was the top auto and custom car shop in the entirety of Megapolis, after all.

Wukong tries—and fails—to get that damn graffiti artist to stop tagging his garage.
Macaque tries—and succeeds—at annoying the shit out of that one garage owner.

Summary
He’d entered strangers’ homes hoping it would fill the void and make him feel alive. Instead he felt emptier than before after what little he could get evaporated in what felt like seconds. But he had no way of knowing how to fill the hollow in his chest but this.
Wukong had been living with a yawning void threatening to swallow him whole. He slept with strangers in hope that random hookups could keep the void away but it only serve to make it worse.

Summary
He fixes his posture and falls into meditation.
Or, tries to. He has to take stock of himself when it doesn't work, and concludes that the idea of leaving his body vulnerable in this place leaves him with too much of a bone-deep, primal discomfort. The kind of response leftover from having been born just another creature waiting to die.
Even though as far as he can see, this place is just a cave. No matter what Macaque implied. It was a cave with some kind of seal on it, yes, but just a cave.

There was fondness seeping from every line on Macaque's face. His eyes gleamed with incomprehensible love and devotion that had always scared the King on some level, but his traitorous heart fluttered hopelessly under the gaze.
He swallowed, throat bobbing with the motion, unsure of what to do other than to gently brush his own fingers across the hand on his cheek.
Macaque pressed his lips on Wukong’s temple. “I would kill for you. I would die for you,” he said, voice worshipful like a prayer.
Wukong clenched his teeth. “You will,” he said as his voice cracked.

Summary
Mk’s eyes widened at what the mist left behind. “What is THAT?!”
Monkey King’s head snapped to where Mk was pointing. A naked monkey cub sat on the floor, sucking on the tip of his own tail as he stared back at them with round, twinkly eyes. He had a familiar heart-shaped, peachy marking around his eyes. VERY familiar...
The pair turned to stare back at each other, mentor and mentee seemingly arriving at the same realization at the same time.
“Oh shit.”
A giddy, high-pitched cackle rang through the treasure room. What seemed to be a baby version of the Monkey King found the situation very amusing for some reason, clapping his hands in glee as the real Monkey King glared at it, mouth twisted in horror.
mk breaks a mirror. this has unforeseen consequences (bad news: a baby swk pops into existence and now its up to the REAL swk to take care of it... if he can even keep it alive) (good news: hes a really cute baby)

Heavens may be all Wukong had ever known, but he also knew this: that he loved the breeze down at Earth, that the swaying trees and blooming flowers greeted him like an old friend, that the fruits growing in the mountains on Earth was so much tastier than even the sweetest peach at the Heavenly Orchard. They say that opulence was all the Heavenly Orchard’s trees had ever known, but the hardships the trees on Earth had endured and survived through made their fruits all the better, all the sweeter, all the tastier.
Wukong was taken to the Celestial Realm before he had the chance to grow into himself on Earth, but that didn’t stop him from sneaking down every now and again. And then he met Macaque.

Macaque feels small under the intensity of his gaze. Never had he before heard of a god-like creature devoting himself to such a lesser being. Scum, some would say. A pathetic excuse of a demon. Yet here he was, on the receiving end of that god’s affection, who was waiting to give him whatever it was he desired, so long as he was the one to speak it so. This—this is so much more than trust. This is power. And it is all his.
