“It’s you!” He whips his head around for confirmation. A smile tugs at the corner of Megumi’s lips as his answer. “You made yourself into a shikigami?” Yuji asks as he inspects it closely, walking around the room. It’s uncanny how realistic this figure looks, a perfect copy of Megumi.
“It’s more like a shadow clone.” Megumi watches intently as Yuji reaches out a tentative hand. “You can touch. It won’t bite.”
Yuji trusts him, entirely, but something about the man’s sharp eyes say, “not yet, anyway.”In which Megumi learns a new technique and uses it to spit-roast Yuji.
