“AHHH!” Judy screamed as she turned the corner of her door and entered the living room. To her surprise, Nick was no longer locked away in his room. He sat on the couch, reclining carelessly in front of the TV, which he hadn’t bothered to prop onto the stand that Judy had purchased. But that was besides the point because Nick was naked! Or— more accurately, practically naked. He wore nothing but checkered boxers and a pair of fuzzy slippers.
“What are you doing?” Judy yelled, covering her eyes with her left paw.
“Um… watching TV…” Judy couldn’t see Nick’s face, but he sounded confused.
“I can see that,” she grimaced, “but why are you naked?” She peeked out from between the spaces in her paw.
Nick looked down at his boxer-clad body. “I’m not naked, I’m wearing my pajamas.”
“Gah!” Judy huffed in frustration. “You can’t just hang out in our shared spaces only wearing underwear! How would you feel if I did that.” She immediately blushed, realizing the image that she had just put in Nick’s head.

Once they were actually inside the safehouse Sam gently slipped Zemo off his shoulder, leaving Bucky to support the rest of his weight. “Last chance to make this a hospital problem. I’m more EMT than doctor. They could do a lot more for you there than I can here.”
“My answer hasn’t changed,” Zemo said curtly. The two of them had argued about it during the trip back. Bucky had stayed out of it. He didn’t have a lot of experience with the aftermath of violence and what the threshold was for a normal, human body. Hearing Zemo arguing about how he’d rather put himself in Sam’s hands than a stranger’s had made Bucky think about the way paranoia could wrap around so far that it became a twisted kind of trust.
