Malcolm is just wondering if that's a good thing or a very, very bad thing when a voice crackles over the small speaker that's sitting on a workbench just behind the camera, set right next to their phones and wallets, along with Gil's badge and gun.
"You're both awake," the voice says. It's deep, calm. Entirely unconcerned with the fact that they're holding an NYPD Lieutenant and consultant hostage. "Let's begin."
