As Kenzo reaches his bedside, Dieter stirs, turning over enough to reveal his face. It's pallid, and Kenzo is reaching for his forehead even as the boy squints open his eyes.
“Tenma,” he rasps. “When’d you…”
Sure enough, he has a fever. Kenzo takes his hand back and meets Dieter’s barely-open eyes. “I just got home. How are you feeling?”
The kid groans as loudly as he likely can and says, “Bad.”

Tenma looks after teenage Dieter, who didn't tell him he was sick until now.

Summary
After the, er, rocky start, Toph is finally finding her place within the Gaang, which means it's time for earthbending lessons. Unfortunatly, Aang isn't finding it nearly as intuitive or easy as he had airbending and waterbending.
As the two struggle with their student-teacher relationship, Zuko is learning more advanced moves from Iroh. However, his time in the cave and his new mentality towards life will have a profound impact on his abilities.
The two benders must struggle with the new moves, and the concept that sometimes progress requires change in ways that aren't always comfortable.

Then he took a deep breath and he changed. He ironed out every fold in his posture and his face until he looked like Superman again. His shoulders were broad, his gaze was confident, and his smile showed no sign of embarrassment or fear.
It’s genuinely uncomfortable to watch.
Especially since Bruce knows that change. He’s seen it in the mirror before entering parties or nightclubs. He’s always referred to it, internally, as 'putting on my better face.' The façade is his least favourite part of the day, ranking just below 'getting punched by supervillains.'
The idea that Superman is just Kal's better face, that would explain a lot.
It would also mean Bruce isn't alone.

Summary
A series beginning with Bruce Wayne finally deciding to go to therapy, and the ripple effect afterwards. Most will be hurt/comfort in some fashion with a lot of Bat Dad, a lot of sibling relationships and a lot of Jason Todd because he’s my fav.
This is something of an attempt to consolidate both Bruce’s original characterization pre-crisis, and his more current one, to explain why he is as he is now, and to get him back to where he once was. A good dad who struggled with his own shortcomings and cared about his kids.
