Summary
If the memory of Nam-gyu continued to plague Min-su's mind, then he’d plague Nam-gyu of his real presence until that man paid for what he did to him. What he did to Se-mi. How could someone live with themselves after murdering another? How could he walk away scott-free while Min-su continued to see her through each time he shut his eyes? It was unfair.
OR
After the 4th game they vote to leave, but Min-su's still haunted by the thought of Se-mi and his newfound crippling drug addiction. He needs an escape; he needs to confront Nam-gyu, who got to escape without the same guilt Min-su held.

After the 4th round, the games are terminated. Although flooded with cash, Namgyu is tired, angry, and losing his mind. Craving the addicting feeling of the special pills Thanos had in the game, he scavenges the internet until finding a supplier all the way in Baltimore, Maryland. Through his supposed short stay in America, he impulsively books an appointment with a psychiatrist — wanting to find some sort of closure for the experience of the games.

Summary
In-ho bends over Gi-hun, dismayed with his revenge intentions and conflicting feelings. In-ho gives him the most understanding and gentle look of Young-il, which hasn't worked for a long time. It's just a matter of habit.
“Gi-hun, let's switch teams,” he suggests cautiously. “You're not a murderer at all, I'm afraid you might... lose.”
Gi-hun frowns and looks away to hide from Young-il’s pleading, almost begging eyes. He's not ready to give in.
“I can handle it,” his tone is sharp and unambiguous, leaving no room for argument. In-ho looks him up and down and nods, admitting defeat.
“If you're sure, then fine,” he says. “Let's stick together, I'll help you with your opponent, and you protect me.”
An AU which explores a possible development of the events of s3, if In-ho decides to stay after Gi-hun's revolt. In other words, In-ho and Gi-hun play hide and seek together.
