Summary
Nearly a year after the events of Civil War, two injured, uninvited visitors appear outside Avengers Tower. Revelations are dropped, an invasion is averted again, though with a surprise saviour, and eventually, a dire warning is given to the people of Earth; indeed, all inhabitants of the Nine Realms.
Canon-compliant to the MCU up to Civil War and Guardians of the Galaxy 2, and may use some ideas from future movies
Warning: Creative license is freely used (some may say abused)If the adult content warning comes up, ignore it. I haven't set it, but apparently sometimes it appears. I don't know why.
Edit: Now abandoned, apologies but I at first just ran out of time to write, and later lost motivation too. Leaving it up because I am ok with what I wrote but yeah, no more updates are planned, sorry

INFINITY WAR SPOILERS BE WARNED
(Although if you're here when you haven't watched it yet and don't want spoilers I can't understand you)What could have happened in the first 10 minutes of the movie so our hearts wouldn't have broken so early, or at least not as much.
A collection of one-shots that either fix Loki's death, avoid it, or make it less pointless than it was. Will be classified as complete, as no chapter will relate to another except in being largely based around the same scene.

"Sir!" A voice suddenly rings through the room. Dark snaps his head towards the entrance and sees Navy, face uncharateristically expressive. What he was displaying, Dark wasn't too sure. Something between alarm and anticipation. "We've spotted—" Those dark blue eyes suddenly swivel to Dark, before turning back to victim — "the target. Hazard is currently chasing him down."
victim straightened his back and turned to Agent. "Contact the rest of your team and meet up with Hazard. You chase down the target and make sure you bring him back with this." He taps Agent's left arm, right where the pause button would've been installed.

post showdown, victim finds an injured dark and offers to remove the code in him. for a price, of course.

“I — no! I am definitely, absolutely not on your side!” Tommy shouted. “I — I don’t — I don’t even know why I’m here! It was an accident! Just — go away!”
“Are you, what, actually not a part of this?” not-Dream asked, tiling his head and studying Tommy’s face, his expression. “Shoot. Guess not. Um. Okay, then.” He raised a hand, and took off his mask, revealing his face in a smooth motion that made Tommy’s heart jolt. “Nice to meet you, mysterious visitor. I’m Dream. Welcome to the Hunt.”

Or, after an accidental portal disaster, Tommy ends up on a Server far from the Dream SMP, and meets three hunters whose only objective seems to be killing Dream, and a much different version of Dream, whose only objective seems to be staying alive. (And keeping Tommy alive too, which made absolutely no sense at all.)- Language:

Summary
Impossible Things Just Happen begins in a domestic avengers AU and features Loki happily living amongst them – enjoying Christmas, dating Tony Stark – the usual. When an accident transports Loki to the post-Civil War Sacred Timeline, he has to find a way to get back home to his family. Spoiler alert – he does and it works!
