AU where Kuroko is a student currently schooling at Seirin University, and is a freelance photographer. Akashi is an ice cream man (yeah he is).
Kuroko Tetsuya shifted the lens of his camera and clicked. The satisfying clack of the shutter dispersed into the open, quiet and tranquil. Kuroko examined the image, disposed to delete it even if it was the slightest bit off – but no, it was perfect. The contrast between the true white of the building and the darkness of the raven was exactly what he had hoped to capture. The corners of his lips turned shyly upwards with content.

Despite his own moral advice, his lower regions screamed of the absolute abuse his work ethics put him through, going as far as telling him to screw professionalism because there were certainly other things he would prefer to screw as well.
And oh boy did it scream.
It screamed of how he was letting mankind down for not even talking to his recent muse, blaming his abysmal talent for expressing himself due to naturally numb facial nerves. It screamed how all the people of the same sexual orientation would be ashamed of him for letting this opportunity slip. Akashi Seijuuro was one of the most eligible bachelors that anyone could find, be it in wealth or looks, and he was a failure because he could not initiate a conversation with the man for all the life in him.

From the chair next to the foot of the bed, a pair of awfully familiar golden eyes stare at him. They’re not Lumine’s.
“So,” says the stranger, looking him over with obvious disdain, “you’re the one who has caught my sister’s eye?”
It would be a lot more intimidating, Childe thinks, if was about three inches taller.
Or: Just because he's busy, doesn't mean Aether can't make a little detour every now and then. Especially to meet the one who has stolen his sister's heart.
