Genuinely a fun and visually appealing fic (how in the world do they get those posts to work??). Perfectly showcases the batfam fandom but in a specific way that feels so RPF parasocial cause it's in universe. Like the way the civilians talk has me busting my gut, but also makes me the same level of uncomfortable that RPF fans make me. ITS JUST SO GOOOOOOOOD. Also listen to the playlist while you read (in chapter 4 notes) it matches the vibes perfectly and makes the whole reading experience more fun.

I'm gonna be honest I've watched neither of these shows, but I'm actually genuinely in love with this Gabriel, LIKE OMG, YES KING RUIN THEIR LIVES (although I'm more partial to Dean & Sam getting out of this) seeing the fallout for Benson was wonderful actually like GOD I forgot how much I love Trickster ass bitches Gabriel is my fave archangel now!

Aware and accepting of defeat but assured that they will be the ones to change Gotham, engaging in hopeless repetition and infallibly sure that there is a possibility for a new result. Maybe Duke doesn’t fully get Batman and his bad guys and all the mayoral candidates who lie through their teeth saying 'this time will be different I promise I swear' but he gets his Robins. He gets the audacity of youth. More than that, he understands that you’re only crazy if it doesn’t work.

Bucky is so competent that it hurts my feelings is not a rational complaint to have about a person, and yet, after a year of being Captain America and partnering up with Bucky for the new and improved, post-Blip Avengers, that’s kinda how Sam’s feeling.
It’s not great. It maybe leads to Sam making some rash, ill-advised decisions like claiming he has a previously undisclosed superpower, and then getting caught in a web of lies when he ends up actually developing that surprisingly inconvenient superpower. Talking to birds had seemed like a harmless superpower, but it turns out that birds have a lot of opinions, and they don’t hesitate to tell Sam about them, especially when it comes to his supposedly subpar courting skills. Which is ridiculous, because Sam isn’t courting Bucky. Right?

With Public intrigue growing again it's time for their next try, the only problem with that, Spider-Man is resolutely ignoring their calls. So they call in an outside man to get Spider-Man into a meeting room.
And while most their hopes get dashed the moment the X-Men send them Deadpool for help, Tony has a simply solution.
See as a personal project for himself he hired a photographer, specifically Spider-Man's old photographer Peter Parker. Who just so happens to be in the room when Deadpool shows up.
With Peter's old relationship with Spider-Man and Deadpool's tracking(stalking) skills they'd make a great Spider-Wrangling team.[Or: Peter and Wade are hired to bring in Spider-Man, which works out about as well as you think it will for Peter.]
