Beautiful. I read this fanfic in one sitting and would happily do it again.. I must say the descriptions are some of the most in depth I have ever seen. I could literally visualize what was happening and how things looked to a perfect degree. (Me when I image a whole animatic with your fic 😇) genuinely jaw dropping. The use of poems and sayings completely takes the cake and really shows the inner emotions of Xie Lian and his inner turmoil. I adore how you made them so in character. (Ghost cities confusion turned to “buy buy buy!!” Was so funny I had to stop myself from laughing.) I also found that Xie Lian’s reason to go to Ghost city to me so silly. “Hmm should I basically go insane? Let out my anger by destroying the world? Or… a third option GAMBLE.” I couldn’t stop laughing, and while Xie Lian did not go to the gamblers den i genuinely thought that was going to happen (nice use of subversion from the other books) i was pleasantly surprised to see just ghost city. (And yes people Hua Cheng and Xie Lian ARE holding hands. IT ISNT THEIR ROBES!!!!) a million kudos to you author. A million.
