Sonic is mourning the loss of a foe- Shadow. An ebony hedgehog that mirrored Sonic in more ways than he'd like to admit, a creature who was the embodiment of who the blue blur would've become if it weren't for the family he found on earth. All he wants to do is see home one last time. To soothe the aching feeling of losing a piece of his soul. And that he does when he spots him in an all too familiar place.

Station Square High School Marching Band has a problem.
Do they have talent? Yes.
Do they have passion? Loads.
Does everyone get along? Not so much.
To achieve their ultimate goal of winning a national championship, the Station Square High School Marching Band's drum majors have to put their differences aside for the greater good of the group.
That's easier said than done for Sonic and Shadow.

Summary
If you had asked anyone who knew Shadow (a rather short list, even shorter if you ignored those who only knew the sting of his punches and nothing more), they would agree that finding him at a bar would be highly unusual.
So, why was he here now? And apparently as a regular guest too.
The answer would’ve probably shocked even Rouge, his closest friend (this title only graced her name when Shadow was feeling particularly intoxicated).
For the dark and brooding hedgehog, the ‘Ultimate Life Form’, was here for the bi-weekly live music event.Or: Shadow is a fan of live music, and Sonic has a secret band; needless to say, Shadow is conflicted.

Summary
Shadow spends his junior year, much like he’s spent the rest of high school, trying to make himself invisible. His only sense of solace and escape from the emptiness from his everyday life is through his blog.
He wouldn’t let some anon who had been obsessively interested in it from the beginning take away from that, even as their comments became more and more…concerning.
He only wished that the attention didn’t get to him like it did.
