I doubt anyone will actually read any of this, but to that one person, hello and thank you! I'm terrified to post this, but it's been sitting on my computer for too long, so here we go. And I'm so sorry about the laundry list of tags!
The 22nd Centralian Dingoes, the bastard sons of the Imperium tasked with the dirty work the more reputable guard units wouldn't think to dirty their hands with. Gangers, laborours, and prisoners plucked from the mines, manufactorums, and underhives slums from the arid worlds of Centralia Binary. The unforgiving land breeds hearty men and women capable of withstanding almost anything. Their unusual doggedness has been watched by the Ordo Hereticus, and now they've been pulled into the fold by two Inquisitors.
These loosely tied together strings of smut and plot revolve around my homebrew (mostly canon compliant) guardsmen regiment (grimdark scifi Australia). It mostly focuses on three relationships; Vance Neems- former hive ganger, and Rolf Moranis- offworld medic sent to help. Eli Rowan- alcoholic bastard, and Asher Hask- former bushranger outlaw and stim addict. And lastly Iris "Harland" Kincaid- your typically dogmatic Colonel Commissar, and Alexis Mazur- his bratty adjutant.

Summary
He doesn't know if he would have noticed the cold if it weren't for the bright core of heat that has settled in his lap. The contrast is sharp; a razor's edge slicing into the delicate shroud of sleep, but not enough to rouse him completely. Only enough to offer a glimpse of the waking world through heavy eyelids before the visions disappear into the dark.
It all comes to him in pieces; a glint of ivory, a flash of iridescence, pitch-dark waves that bounce on slender shoulders – the mind is a wondrous thing, spinning up such a lovely scene to entertain him in his fitless sleep. It's a dream he's had so many times, one that he'll never tire of, even if the shape of it has warped with time.
“Shh, don't – ahh – don't move, dear. Just – just let me…”

"So impatient, holy shit." Toxic rolled his eyes, then gave Robert a pitying look. "You really do need to be tied up, huh? Next time I'll bring some handcuffs. That'll help."
Robert isn't coping well after the crash and everything that came before it. Toxic is a bad solution but it's the only one he has—until he starts his new job at SDN. Even then, Robert doesn't know how to break his habit of getting on his knees for Shroud's right-hand man. It would be lot easier to just move on with his life if Toxic would only stop kissing him like any of this meant something.
