“‘Earl Grey?’ Narcissa offered as he pulled out a chair to join her, lifting it up a bit so it wouldn’t scrape against the slate-tiled floor. Her round table was decorated with crumpets, jars of jams, a pitcher of pure sunshine, and a green glass vase of white roses and pink lilacs.
Harry piled eggs and smoked salmon onto slices of wheat toast. He was meant to be ingratiating himself with Narcissa, negotiating a fair deal for Draco and himself. They were set on moving in together, and despite having attended boarding school for seven years (or eight, in Draco’s case), Draco was sure his mother would be difficult to convince. It had somehow become Harry’s job to persuade her because, apparently, he was well-liked by the woman.”
Harry and Draco have been through a lot in their lives so far, and now they deserve to be happy. Together.
