Summary
It’s been five months since Johnny and Dally died, and over a year since his parents died, and Ponyboy still doesn’t know what to do with himself. After he had written his theme, he thought things would be fine. He’d process what happened and get over it - move on like Darry had told him to. But he can’t. Maybe that's why he's out in the lot now, looking for any sign that Johnny existed other than the letter he left behind.

He doesn’t remember what he said to Darry. What he does remember is Sodapop’s gasp, still ringing in his ears. He remembers the way Johnny’s face had gone from intensely uncomfortable to horrified. He remembers the silence that had trailed behind him when he spun around and burst out the door, fleeing like a bat outta hell. Ponyboy doesn’t know how long he's been running, or where he is, but he does know that if he stops everything will come crashing down again.

“The Fates were furious. Not only had the gods continued to ignore their children, they had now also decided to turn a blind eye against what was happening. Gaea was rising and the gods’ solution was to shut down Olympus, leaving their children to fight a war they couldn’t possibly win without help.
There was one solution. A dangerous one, one that could not be taken lightly and would cause a lot of suffering, especially for one particular demigod.”Percy Jackson, along with a few of his friends gets sent back in time. To make matters worse, the fates have ordered them and the gods to read books, about his thoughts or else they won’t return to their timeline. Of course he’s furious, but, as the books progress and he sees the gods finally owning up to their own mistakes, he starts to wonder if there might be another reason as to why they were sent back in time, other than to embarrass him in front of his friends and family.
It’s another reading the books fic! I know it’s been done before, but if you’re like me and love this kind of stuff, then I guess you won’t care and eat it up as much as I do.
