A spin on the classic Peter Parker field trip to Stark Industries, only he's not the one trying to hold together a not-so-carefully constructed lie; he's the one trying to expose it.
The elevator dings, and Peter steps out, words already tumbling out of his mouth as he trudges into the penthouse. “Uh, Dad… let’s just say—hypothetically, of course—what do you do when someone in your class is, um, claiming to be you? Or, not you-you, because, y’know, they don’t actually know you exist… Well, they know you exist, but…”
“Pete, buddy, spit it out!” Tony interrupts with a laugh, watching his son stumble through his explanation.
Peter huffs, his backpack dangling from one shoulder as he drops it near the couch. “Okay, fine. There’s this kid at school who’s been going around telling everyone he’s your secret son.”

“We need each other, especially now,” Tim said solemnly. Martin just nodded. “Everything’s different, and it’s not gonna go back to how it was when we get back to work. And I, personally, don’t trust anyone else in that place but you guys.”
“Right now, I just want to focus on us, not…the institute,” Martin said, brushing back Tim’s hair. He kissed his forehead, and Tim melted against the touch. “And this is pretty nice…”
“Where do we go from here, then?” Jon asked, hesitant glances passing to each of them.
“I say we go to Camelot,” Tim said.
“I’d like to…” Sasha said sheepishly.
“As would I…” Martin said.
Jon took a deep breath, and he nodded slowly. “Camelot it is, then.”

His throat is so sore. The blur finally resolves into a round face with worried blue eyes behind wire-rimmed glasses. Martin.
“Are you okay?” Martin says again.
