Summary
Oscar Piastri is a lonely, closeted F1 driver who's one mistaken hook-up away from certain ruin. Lando is a down-on-his-luck photographer who's three days away from eviction. When Lando tries to mug Oscar in a desperate attempt to keep his housing, Oscar proposes a mutually beneficial arrangement: Lando lives with Oscar as his companion for one year. After that, they're free to go their separate ways. A rock-solid NDA and no hard feelings. What could go wrong?

"Well, you see." Fred says slowly. "I cannot tell you much else. But he will."
Lando’s eyes snap open. "You did not invite your friend who uncontrollably turns into a giant to our fucking WG."
"I didn’t." he answers immediately, and Lando slumps into the chair from sheer relief. "He’s aware that in his… current conditions he shouldn’t travel. He’s not stupid, Lando, just desperate. But I told him about you."
"Me." Lando says flatly.
"Yes, about your research. And he would like to talk to you. See if you can help him figure out what’s going on with him."
"Me." Lando repeats again. "No. Why. Why?"

Lando's a folklore geneticist fresh out of his PhD. He bums around his shared flat in Berlin, goes on mental health walks, gets stoned regularly, and tries to convince funding bodies (and himself) that his research is worth supporting.
Oscar is a rising star in the world of motorsports who accidentally discovers himself to be the carrier of a previously unknown, but seemingly very dangerous Gene, which could easily end his career and potentially a few lives.

“You can’t blame Superman for that, mate,” Max cuts in. “Those things were happening to you long before he arrived.”
“Lando,” George adds dryly, “it might have more to do with the fact that you always run toward danger. That, and your attitude tends to piss people off.”
Metropolis has its first superhero, the Daily Planet has front-row seats, and Lando Norris has a brand new partner fresh from Smallville, the polite, focused, infuriatingly calm Oscar Piastri. Between chasing headlines, dodging LexCorp trouble, and maybe getting rescued once or twice, Lando can’t shake the feeling that his new colleague is hiding something.

Summary
When Xavier starts getting visions of the monster haunting Jericho, he can't just hole up in his shed and paint. While Wednesday plays detective, he strikes out as a vigilante, trying to hunt down the monster himself. Unfortunately, that's not all this year has to throw at him.
After Tyler saves Xavier from a fight with Lucas, their paths can't seem to stop crossing. Xavier isn't sure how his past tension with Tyler turned into this bizarre, push-and-pull rivalry over their mutual crush. As their efforts to win Wednesday's affection escalate, he is forced to confront the fact the competition might be...fun. And that he might like bickering with Tyler more than he actually wants to take Wednesday to the dance.
