Summary
When Kaito planned the heist for The Lazarus Water gem, he didn't think it would end up with him, Conan, and Haibara in a city called Gotham. Now he's got a long list of stuff to steal to help them figure out a way to get home and he's been pulled into one thing after another. First, he had to stop a couple of kidnappings then he sees a bunch of supervillains causing problems, and right in front of him! The audacity! Of course, he had to do something about it!

Summary
About a week ago a merman was found severely injured on the beach, it was rescued and healed and then put in the nearby aquarium. As the Mer are an intelligent species an announcement was made that a reward will be given to the person(s) who can successfully communicate with the merman.
That's not Kaveh's problem though because he's got a mid-term project to finish in record time so he can soak up the artistic inspiration of the wonderfully arranged aquarium tanks and definitely not get this damn merman to just TELL HIM what decorations he would be willing to put up in the hovel he's currently holed up in.
Honestly, he put in all this effort to teach him how to sign to him what his favorite color is and all the brat will do is tell him that decor is useless unless it serves a function. The function is to make this place have even a little bit of life in it, if you can't appreciate that then I will make you!

"Are they allowed in your bed?" The question comes before he can think twice. He flusters from his own words, squirming in his seat when greeted with Mydei's pointed silence. Phainon's lips open and close, hands balling into fists, "Sorry, that was—"
"If they're well behaved," Mydei interrupts, propping his elbow up on the bar, mirroring his pose, chin propped on his hand, "Are you?"
Phainon is, he thinks, eyes tracing the arch of his brow, the curved bridge of his strong nose and plush, pink lips. He could be so well behaved.
After a messy breakup, Phainon seeks out a change of pace. He might not be one of Mydei's regulars, but he wouldn't mind being something a little more.

As soon as the words left his mouth, he winced because he had absolutely been here before. Multiple times. He knew every inch of this room. Why had he said that?
Mydei let out a quiet, put-upon sigh. "Phainon."
Phainon straightened a little, then lifted a hand and mimed zipping his mouth shut, locking it, and tossing the imaginary key away. His expression said, See? Perfectly behaved. Mydei, unfortunately, looked like he believed none of it.
Or: Mydei has deadlines, Phainon has zero self-control, and the desk barely survives the consequences.

Mydei was so, so adorable. Phainon giggled at his reaction; Mydei’s ears twitching, the flush on his face, and best of all—the spike in his scent. He could feel the heat radiating off him from how close they were.
“Hm? Did I make you speechless?” Phainon tilted his head curiously, the smirk on his face widening. “Would you like to recreate that?”
Based on the grip Mydei had on his plushie, Phainon was fairly certain it would pop if he didn't stop him.
“You—” Mydei sighed, breaking off from his previous statement, “I should really punish you for these kinds of remarks.”
