Misha had seen hundreds of pictures depicting himself as an angel. Some of them were fantastic, and others required a great deal of imagination to be able to distinguish exactly what the picture was supposed to depict. But this was one of the former. A set of glowing wings was rising from his back. Every feather was clear and distinct, snowy white with a soft golden sheen. Yet the wings were transparent enough that the background could still be seen through them. “That’s incredible!” Misha exclaimed, admiring. “How did he do it?”
The story of how the most amazing photo op pic Misha has ever seen further complicates his already-complicated life.

Summary
Not long before Prince Dean Winchester’s First Inauguration - a ceremony to enable him to become king once his father passes - Dean loses the one heirloom he was supposed to keep safe: the family’s amulet.
He and his best friend Cas (who Dean is not so secretly in love with) set out on a road trip to retrieve it.
With the prospect of being forced to marry Lisa Braeden and eventually rule the kingdom, this seems to be Dean’s last chance to be with the one person he actually wants to be with.
And really: what’s the worst that could happen?

Summary
Dean’s finally come to the conclusion that his life will benefit from him getting rid of the old to make room for the new. He starts by donating a bunch of things to charity, only to see one of the blankets he’s donated wrapped around someone sleeping in the street a couple of days later. He can’t know that, when he approaches the cocoon lying on the sidewalk that first time, but giving away his old blanket has started a sequence of events that will bring into his life all the new he could hope for, starting with the man sleeping under it.
Castiel's lost everything. He’s homeless, living in the street and determined to keep going until he won’t be able to go on any longer. And then, he’ll see. For now, he finds solace in the little things, desperate for any scrap of hope that might come his way. Like the blanket he got from the shelter, with the ugliest dog face that ever existed, complete with flapping ears, that has made him smile for the first time in weeks. He couldn't have possibly known, when he chose that particular blanket out of those available, that that choice had started a sequence of events that will bring into his life all the hope he was looking for, starting with the man who sewed and donated it.
