What if when the Hells first formed, all the tension between Imogen and Laudna had been for that fact that they had a pre established relationship? They just never really told anyone else because, well, they assumed the others would just figure it out. Except, the others saw it as unresolved tension and decide to step in and help the girls realize they are in love with each other. Naturally, this confuses Imogen because why is the gang suddenly trying to push Laudna towards her? Why are they whispering and watching them all the time? Are they jealous? Do they disapprove? What is happening?Just some loving misunderstandings.

“Imogen?” Laudna tensed briefly before relaxing, gingerly placing her hands over Imogen’s on her stomach. Imogen fumbled to explain the sudden need to keep Laudna here, her brain scrambling to come up with an explanation. When words failed her, Imogen felt panic begin to claw its way up her throat. “Dear, you’re shaking. What’s wrong?”
“Don’t go on that date. I… just please don’t.” Imogen muttered the only clear thought running through her head.An alternate ending to the ep27 ring scene.

A shopkeep deliberately raised his prices when she tried to buy provisions. People crossed on the other side of the street when they saw her. She tried to play with children, and they ran from her, screaming. Again.

The two of them sit side-by-side in their humble camp. Here, relaxing on their blanket under the trees nearby their tent, off the side of the road enough to not be seen by passersby, it’s quiet. Laudna reclines peacefully against the scratchy bark of a tree at her back, and Imogen fiddles with the hem of her skirt only a couple of feet away. A crease threatens her brow as she focuses on a few fraying threads, pushing her bare feet into the grass.

There’s several, if she really thinks about it, the two of them settling into an easy routine, Imogen quickly falling in love with the easy ebbs and flows of this life, and the woman she’s spending it with.
