When the Red Hood makes a visit to the magical equivalent of an underground pawn shop, he expects to find some enchanted firepower, or an extra trick to keep up his sleeve and keep scumbags up at night. What he doesn’t expect to find is the hero Nightwing, clearly under some type of mind control, and currently a lot more female than usual. Leaving the man he refuses to think of as his brother to whatever trouble the dickhead’s gotten himself into now might cost him his peace of mind. Did someone fire up the kitch—?” He paused and blinked at the spread on their table, all on Binghe’s own plates. His gaze flicked over to where Binghe’s cookery supplies were laid out on a cloth to either dry or cool down before storage. “Is that the Blessed Jade Pill Furnace?” Shizun asked, squinting. “With a grill tray on top of it?”
Binghe pursed his lips and looked away. It was. He’d honestly forgotten that the furnace had a life before he turned it into a portable stove. “Perhaps?”
Or: Binghe sets out to remind his master why life is best with Binghe at his side.
