Summary
After moving into Haddonfield for your job as a substitute teacher by the nearby high school, you were oblivious to your surroundings. It wasn't until then you had watched the news on a particularly cloudy day, noting the amount of murder cases rising. The killer was known as Michael. Michael Myers. You hoped he wouldn't reach you, although you were for sure he'd come for you. Figuratively and literally.
Eventually he softens up to you, forcing yourself to let him stay in your property for the sheer exchange of your life on the line — try to escape, and Michael will make sure you know your place.

Now set in 1995, seventeen years on from his rampage and string of brutal killings in Haddonfield, It's October and Halloween is fast approaching for Reader/You, a young nurse/carer who works in Smith's Grove, so who else would fate happen to pair up other than you and Michael Myers himself? Trouble is brewing within the Asylum, and evil never stays contained for too long. The chains that bind him will eventually break.

“No reason,” you said casually, a small shrug as you sipped your drink. But you were lying. You’d never tell them the truth. Not about him. Not ever.

A year has passed since we escaped Smiths Grove. My life has been through many highs and lows, the lows from being betrayed by people who she thought were friends (who are now dead thanks to Bae❤️), to finding out her parents abandoning her leaving haddonfield first chance they got, and to top it all off being tranqed and dragged off to Smiths Grove Sanitourium by Michael's insane former psychologist and main tormentor!!! But despite all of this, there was one constant... Michael, despite his terrifying her in the beginning for obvious reasons, I began to understand and maybe even love him. He took the time to listen to what I had to say and me, for him instead of just brushing it off as nonsense. I'm debating on whether and how to tell him how I feel.
Little does Y/n know her life is about to change in a big way, maybe even two.
