Titus’s nose felt shockingly cold when it pressed against Damian's cheek, sending a jolt down his spine from where he was curled up on a couch deep within the bowels of the manor. Damian knew he was sick. It was obvious by the way his muscles ached with fatigue and the way his skin felt like there were thousands of tiny needles raking across it.
When he was still home, where the air was dry and warm and nothing like the suffocating cold wetness that was New Jersey. He hardly ever got sick like this at home, And when he did, it was something he had been able to keep quiet and move past. It never got in the way of his training, he wouldn't let it.AKA Damian and Tim have a blow out argument, where Damian acknowledges his role in this family to an uncomfortable degree.

It was the first thing Tim felt when he looked at the still-healing wound on his side. It was an angry shade of red, and oozing some sort of yellow puss. It wasn't even that deep of a cut, it had only taken six stitches to close up completely and hadn't hurt that bad. The only problem seemed to be Tim's stupid immune system. He had done a bit of research after the whole Spleen Eviction but honestly, he hadn't thought it’d be this bad. But nowadays It felt like if he did anything, got any sort of injury, or forgot a single day of antibiotics his entire body had a meltdown.He looked terrible. Was the main thought permeating his mind. The dark bruises under his eyes, coupled with his sick pale skin and grown-out hair all gave off the distinct impression of someone who did not have their shit together. There was a kind of sheen that caught the light across his face. It was gross.
Slimy.

The blood that was still dripping from Jason's broken nose was not helping the alcohol induced headache as the young man stared ahead at the cinder block walls in his cell. He used one of his bruised, torn knuckles to wipe away some of the blood, knowing the most it would do was make more of a mess. Honestly he hadn't been looking to get arrested tonight, he'd just been looking for a fight. An easy fight. Something to get his energy out on. Not... this.
He’d finished his patrol earlier than evening, all around it's been pretty quiet, almost nothing for Jason to get his hands dirty with. Which is how he'd ended up at a dive bar in the center of Gotham. It mostly catered to late night workers, people passing through the city, anyone besides Gotham's elite and powerful. Now, Jason would have gone to a fancy place to get roughed up a bit, but he wasn't exactly looking to get sued. So he'd landed himself a seat at the bar, told a guy with a confederate flag tattoo he looked fucking stupid, and got into a fight.

To his credit, Damian had just assumed his father was being over protective when he told him not to go exploring in the cave system that connected to the main batcave. In his defense, he had also seen an injured bat doing its best to fly deeper into the system, and had wanted to help.
Of course all those excuses were useless when he was faced with the reality that he was lost. Hopelessly, desperately lost. He hadn’t been paying close enough attention to what turns he’d been taking and was now in what could only be described as a small room full of bats. Just filled to the brim, with chirping chittering bats. It wasn’t his worst nightmare, infact Damian was quite pleased with where he’d ended up, but the looming fact that he didn’t know how he got here was starting to set him on edge.

Sure, he wasn't really talking to Dick anymore, and Jason was as elusive as he'd ever been, Damian was torturing him from afar, Stephanie was almost exclusively hanging out with Cas and Babs and Tim couldn't find the guts to go actually visit Bruce, but he was fine. He was an adult, he could do this.
He was so fine. Hell, Tim was better than fine, he was thriving!

Summary
Turns out being brought back from the dead does not exclude you from getting the flu. If anything it was looking like it made It ten times worse to get, but maybe Jason was just being a baby. He couldn't really be sure as he had been hacking his guts up for the better part of six hours, leaving him covered in mucus, vomit and sweat. He felt disgusted and was almost assured he looked it as well.
He was laid out across his bathroom tile, head pressed against the horribly cold floor trying desperately to get his fever down with as little effort as possible. He felt insane with how cold he was, his entire body was shaking from what felt like a negative ten degree atmosphere. Logically Jason knew that couldn't be true, but god did it feel like he was gonna get hypothermia if he didn't get up now.

The first seizure hit Dick like a kick to the head, quick, and out of nowhere. One moment he was sitting with Barbara watching a movie, and the next he was on the ground convulsing. He had never felt truly outside of himself more than that moment, like he was floating so far above himself watching as he lost control of his own body and thrashed there on the carpet.
It was safe to say he was in the ER not twenty minutes afterwards. His doctor was a short woman in her mid forties, she had a sort of exhaustion in his eyes that dulled them. Dick understood it.

In retrospect maybe Stephanie should've realized that any attempt to actually connect with Tim post breakup would be sabotaged. Sabotaged by themselves, one of the other Wayne’s, or God, was really up to fate to decide. Right now it was looking like God was behind this one. Because honestly who the fuck thinks to kidnap two college students at a Wetzels Pretzels at three in the afternoon?
Regardless, here they were. Well, here Steph was. Her kidnappers had actually been clever when they nabbed her and Tim, instead of a focused attack they just kinda threw out a canister of fear gas into the crowd, and snatched the two of them. Fear gas, as it turns out, sucks ass. It was barely wearing off after what felt like two straight hours of being under and Steph was getting bored. The constant hallucinations of her father wandering around the small room she was stuck in had lost their charm and had just become draining. The man was hell bent on circling her like a shark, whispering things he was sure would hurt her.

Okay maybe this case sucked. Maybe his skills didn't suit this mission. But this is what he was doing, this is what Bruce asked him to look into. So there he was, up to the tits in frostbite, digging through what looked like an abandoned arctic base’s worth of junk. Seriously, it was like Mr. Freeze started hoarding in the last few years. It wasn't like his suit didn't have thermal protections, he wasn't stupid. But fuck this place was cold. Cold in the way that left your limbs all tingly and tight, that made your teeth clench together too tight and give you a headache.

Year one of the Batman project was going, well... As well as you could expect. Getting the shit kicked out of himself every night wasn't exactly what Bruce had planned, but he was working with it. He was getting better, stronger, he could last longer.
Tonight was... it was bad. It had started easily enough, solving a few neighborhood cases, getting into a small squirmish, returning a stolen purse. It had ended with The Riddler (Stupid name by the way) whacking him hard across the skull with a tacky, neon green cane shaped like a question mark. Overall a rough way to end the night, it was simultaneously embarrassing, and hurtful. To his body, not his feelings.

His parents were off in Italy for some expensive art show, the idea being the more art they bought, the more tax breaks they'd receive. It was all hidden under the guise of charity of course, at the end of the three night art show a portion of the proceeds would be donated.

As far as first years of space college went, Jim thought he was doing pretty damn well. For one thing he was taking almost triple the amount of credits a first year should have, and was passing all of them with flying colors. He had a great roommate, and was doing pretty fucking well in the, well. Fucking department.
Now if he could stop getting into fights all the time, that would make a perfect first year. It’d also keep Pike off his ass, which is always a plus.
