“Yeah, you can kiss me, sweetpea,” Dennis murmurs, and Jack does, for a long time, until his lips buzz pleasantly and he's pulling back between kisses and can almost feel the oxytocin surge in his brain, dizzy off of kissing his Mama, from sucking on his lower lip and running his tongue anywhere he wants. Sick from lack of restrictions, free will that makes him too eager and too much again.
But Dennis doesn't push him off or tell him he's bad or wrong or too much. He's still good. Dennis always thinks he's good. As many times as Jack hits this wall with him, where he expects a shove or at least the withdrawing of affection, it doesn't happen. Dennis is endless in this way, his all encompassing love almost painfully kind and unwavering.

Ali didn't know if he heard the word as friend or beloved and, in truth, he wasn’t sure himself which he meant by it.
“Is it that bad?” Lawrence asked.
Ali, lost for words, said, “It… it looks uncomfortable.”

Addendum: Now an accidental, indefinite short-story collection / dumping ground for my thoughts and feelings re: the book All Quiet, but mostly Paul and Kat. Expect stories, fanart(?), historical inaccuracies, canon divergence and goodness-knows-what-else.
NOTES: Despite the tags, none of this is salaciously explicit, although the subject of sexuality is dealt with frankly here (as is all else in the book).
"Chapters" 1-3 form something of a trilogy; everything that follows is intended to be standalone / unrelated (with some wink-and-nod callbacks).

Obi-Wan obliges and takes another big swallow, careful to allow some of the alcohol to filter from his blood. Maul is very handsome, and so far Obi-Wan is receptive to his advances, but he still needs to keep his wits about him. Looking up at the Zabrak, he decides to be brave.
“It seems like I am. What will you do with me?” This gets him a low chuckle and Maul shifts even closer, vanishing the last of the space between their bodies until Obi-Wan can feel the heat of him from his knees to his hips to his chest.
“Oh, I’ll ruin you, little Jedi.”
