The Justice Lords rule the world with an iron fist. Jon's been raised by Superman, brought up with his casual cruelty toward humans. Superman thinks humans are utterly, irrevocably beneath them. But Jon can't tear his eyes away from Batman's son, Damian Wayne.
If only Jon were the only one looking. Saving Damian is impossible, but maybe Jon can be the lesser of two evils.

On the night of September third, 1999, Jason Thomas Wayne disappeared from Gotham Memorial Hospital. Born prematurely just two weeks ago on August sixteenth, the baby had been staying in the NICU until stable enough to go home with his father, billionaire Bruce Wayne. Reports say that it was most likely an inside job, as there was no evidence of tampering with security or personnel. So far there have been few leads into the disappearance, but police have detained a paramedic under allegations of aiding and abetting. Security cameras show him entering and exiting the NICU within the time frame Jason Wayne went missing. So far the police have not released a statement on the matter.
Jason Thomas Wayne was stolen from his crib at two weeks old by a money hungry Willis Todd, who intended to keep the kid until he would "find him" and return him for a reward later. Although, things don't always go to plan...

Bruce blinked several times as his mind raced and he tried to get his bearings. He’d been… He’d been returning to the cave after patrol, and had been almost home when something huge had crashed in front of the Batmobile. He’d barely swerved out of the way in time, and then he’d gotten out to investigate it. And then he’d touched whatever it was, and it had lit up in red light, and then… then it was now. And now he was lying on the floor of a small, all-white room while a small, dark haired child sat next to him and stared with blatant curiosity.
He sat up with a groan. “Where am I?”
“Some sort of cell on an alien spaceship,” the child said, his voice sounding more annoyed than anything else. “I’ve got an escape plan, though, so don’t worry. I’ll get you out of here.”- Language:

Summary
"I kill so others don't have to," Bruce states firmly and clearly. This entire situation didn't seem like it could get any more bizarre, what with Bruce sitting in the dark and polishing guns, but somehow it just has, "While you are here you will not kill."
Jason's throat is scratchy and dry with terror, but the insatiable feeling of being talked over and disregarded is a fresh wound. He can't back down from this if he tried, "I've killed. I still kill. Who the fuck do you think you are to stop me?"
Bruce gently sets down his gun, and picks up the blade beside him with practised ease. Jason's blood runs cold when the man wearing his father's face says, "You will die by my hand if you try."
(Jason meets a version of Bruce who has manifested his fears very differently.)

Summary
“Dick?” Bruce voice echoes from the room over. “Is that you?”
“Yeah,” Jason hums, pitching his voice slightly higher to match Dick’s.
He doesn’t even need to try to mask his Crime Alley drawl; he’s had enough practice of that over time, after all those years in stiff-collared dress shirts, speaking to rich gala attendees and acting as if he wasn’t filthier than the bottom of their dress shoes. Back when he was still Bruce's son.
After a run-in with a sorcerer leaves Bruce temporarily blind, Jason takes advantage of this to visit the manor whilst pretending to be Dick.

Jason Todd is a orphan who's been living on the streets for a year. Then he dares to steal the batmobile's tires and suddenly he's... living with a weird billionaire? Why did he accept Batman's offer again? But, since he's already here, in a fucking manor of all places, he can see where this goes, live off this naive man's money without getting emotionally involved. Yes, this is a foolproof plan.
Dick Grayson is a teenager, unfortunately for him: this means one identity crisis a week and a good dose of fighting for indipendence with his legal guardian. Then he suddenly acquires a new brother, who looks like a wet racoon with an adorable pout, and now he has to decide who he wants to be while everything he loves changes around him. No sweat.
Three people's lives clash due to an improptu decision, that will shape them into better versions of themselves.Series

Summary
His lungs were burning, black spots dancing through his field of vision. It was… it was painful not being able to breathe. But at least there was no unhinged laughter in his ear, at least it wasn’t a crowbar and an explosion that killed him this time. Only Bruce's faint voice was audible:
“Red Hood! Answer me! Where are you!”
Or: Jason isn't ready to give Bruce any more reason to criticize him, so why should he tell the man who had once been his dad about his involuntary bath in Gotham Harbor?

Summary
On Jason's feet, are no longer the new shiny red trainers Bruce bought him, but his old and frayed shoes instead. They look even more decrepit now that the boy's actually wearing them, and it's a miracle they didn't rip apart when he put them on.
Something in Bruce cracks a little, but he's always been a good actor. He pushes the worry that he's missing something important somewhere else and smiles at the boy, "Got everything you need?"
Jason lets out a barely perceptible sigh of relief, and Bruce only notices it because he was looking for it, evidently glad Bruce doesn't mention the change in footwear, "Yeah! Let's go."
(Bruce really can't stand Jason's shoes.)

Summary
Bruce Wayne's solitary existence as a lighthouse keeper is rudely interrupted by a siren guppy repeatedly breaking into his lighthouse and stealing his food. A human lighthouse is no place for a siren child, but Bruce's attempts to dissuade it have brought little success.
It turns out this guppy, Jason, somehow is unable to swim, and now Bruce has made it his mission to teach him so he can migrate for the winter.
If only he could avoid getting attached in the process.

One night, Robin spots a kid with an overnight bag on a rooftop, and he jumps to the obvious conclusion: the kid's trying to run away. The kid is doing a really bad job of it, though, and that's the sort of thing Robin just has to correct.
Except the kid is Tim Drake, and Tim isn't actually trying to run away. But "running away" does sound a little better than "stalking bat-themed vigilantes through the crime-infested streets of Gotham every night." So he lets Robin have this one.
Besides, that's the end of it, right? Robin might have found Tim once, but no one ever looks for Tim a second time. Robin can think whatever he wants. They'll never see each other again.
