Summary
Macy has been having a rough time so when some camp tells her parents that they can help her when other things have failed, she's more than a little salty at her parents' decision to ship her halfway across the country. Follow her as she deals with this new world filled with things she never had a name for and something else that lurks in the shadows
This is my first fic, I have no idea what I'm doing, constructive criticism is welcome.
Edit: I'm going to label this fic as discontinued. I am still writing it, but the speed at which I'm writing and posting is incredibly slow. It might be back one day, but as of right now it is on pause.

Summary
Maybe this isn’t the awful thing it feels like. Perhaps whatever lingers in his blood that overrides his control is something intended to help, to make him better.
The thought doesn’t alleviate any of the terror that still swirls behind his ribcage, threatens to spill over and sink its icy teeth into his bones — but it’s something he clings to, nonetheless. He’ll figure it out, and stop it, and in the meantime it could be a good thing. He hasn’t figured out how to apologise, yet — but the logical first step would be to keep them happy, make sure he stays in their good graces and doesn’t do anything to further aggravate them.
He doesn’t like the idea, but if this — thing, this compulsion helps to make him more palatable, more tolerable and easier to be around, perhaps he’ll be allowed to stay long enough to make it up to them. He might be able to turn it into a good thing before he finds out how to end it, before it wears off. He’ll just wait it out.

J. Daniel Atlas ends up cursed, he thinks. It takes a while for the others to notice. In the meantime, he tries to stay sane. It's surprisingly difficult when your mind isn't your own, anymore.

“Yes, thank you Dream,” Phil says, pulling out his sword, letting it hang loosely in his hand as Techno holds onto Tommy’s arm, tugging the teen even more, to the point where Tommy thinks he might bump into Techno. “However, as of now, Tommy is under the protection of the Antarctic Empire.”
Dream shakes his head, laughing. “You can’t do that.” And as he walks forward to get closer, Phil points his sword right at Dream’s face.
“Yes, we can.” Phil responds, and Dream takes a step back when the edge of Phil’s sword pokes against his mask.
