Fans have been speculating ever since Kevin Day and Thea Muldani announced their engagement as to who Day would ask to be by his side. Many discounted fox involvement entirely, suggesting fellow famous exy players such as Jeremy Knox, Jean Moreau, or even Marcus Jameson. The few that speculated that either Andrew Minyard or Neil Josten would be chosen were stoutly supportive of one and discounted the other. Who could have foreseen that Day would choose both! ‘For the love of God, Andrew, put that down before you hurt someone.’ The coach of the Palmetto Foxes sighed heavily sending his most defiant player a murderous glare.
‘You’re no fun, Coach.’ The blonde, who was currently vigorously swinging an Exy racquet in the air, grinned back.
‘If only you had as much energy when we practiced, you -’
‘Aren’t you tired of repeating yourself, Kevin? Or do you just like to listen to yourself speak so much?’ Andrew interrupted the dark haired man who was standing in a safe distance leaning against the wall looking through a pile of files. A shame. Andrew thought, taking another swing with the too light striker racquet. A shame, that I can’t smash that stupid face. By accident, of course. -

Summary
When Neil Josten gets arrested for a fake ID and thrown into the Juvenile Detention System, he knows that he's running on borrowed time before his father's men catch up.
His mother is dead, there's nowhere to run, there's nothing left at all but an Exy court at the Oakland County Detention Center that he has to earn the right to play on through good behavior.
And Neil's never been great at obeying rules.
