Jimin cringes. “Well. So." He counts it off with his hands. "A very unlikely coincidence or experience bringing strangers together. Faint strings connecting them. Bodies start to ache as if strained for a long time." He decidedly doesn't mention the way he started giving unsolicited head rubs to Jungkook to save his skin. "These are all textbook signs of a soul-bound meeting.”
He might as well have told them the world was ending.
The silence goes on, beyond awkward and tense. Jimin can only drop his gaze to his feet. He will not be the one to break this silence.
Surprisingly Jungkook, who's still at the floor, squeaks out, “Are you saying we’re-”
“Yes,” he replies, sheepishly smiling at him then looking up at everyone else. “Soul-bonded. Or, you know, soulmates.”

Summary
Jungkook doesn't need a bodyguard, much less another parent. His father appoints him one, anyways (a bodyguard). The parent thing happens, sort of, accidentally.
Jungkook hates Seokjin as a bodyguard. He definitely doesn't want him dating his father. (Even if they have history. Especially because they have history.)
