Summary
There are two Siffrins huddled together under the Favor Tree.
One is injured and unconscious. The other is stunned and in a daze. Unfortunately, this means that the neither of them are able to explain what happened.
Odile has some thoughts.
(An Act 6 Two Hats alternative ending where Loop doesn't disappear, Siffrin passes out, and the party ends up encountering the aftermath of the Two Hats fight with no understanding of exactly what they are dealing with. They do their best anyways.)

Summary
Standing there, wreathed by swirling dust motes in the overflowing shop, you feel yourself momentarily flung to the past. Odile hasn’t changed as much as the others, mainly settling into herself as the years passed by. There’s more darkless weaving through her hair now, enough so that after a drink or two she’s begun to joke about matching you in a few years. But in the dimness here, surrounded by leaning piles of antiques, you could imagine that the two of you just split off from the rest of the party to spend the afternoon together in companionable silence.
When you return to wherever you all are staying, Bonnie or Mirabelle will ask if you bought anything, and Odile will raise her book just enough so that they can read the cover, or else you will pull an odd trinket from your pocket, yet another souvenir to lose somewhere on the road to the King. For a moment, you exist in this strange half-space where all that Change has been undone, and you and your family are still on a journey with an uncertain ending. Then you blink, and it all comes back.
(On the anniversary of the King's defeat, Odile and Siffrin visit an antiques shop together.)

Summary
Siffrin has craved blood for as long as they can remember. After so many years of wandering, he's come to Vaugarde in hope of finding answers, just as the King's Curse begins freezing the country in time. He's quickly losing hope, but when they come across a small group determined to save Vaugarde from the King, Siffrin decides to join them. They can't get the answers they want if the country gets frozen in time, after all. They'd never traveled with other people before. Siffrin doesn't expect to grow attached to any of them, but as time goes on, the thought of leaving them hurts more and more. Worse yet, they refuse to even entertain the thought of one of them discovering what he is and what he's done. They just know that if they find out, they'll hate them.
