I'm just another"If not, why would I tutor you?" is what Kim had said when Chay confronted him in front of the Main Family's house. Like it was simple. Like he wasn't breaking Chay's heart.
"How can you say that?" Chay had managed to choke out. He knew it was the truth, but that didn't stop him from hoping that, maybe, it had meant more to Kim than that. That he meant more to Kim. "Let me ask you one thing," Chay said, gripping Kim's arm to prevent him from walking away. "Have you ever loved me?" Chay could barely see Kim through the tears that had been welling up in his eyes, but he could tell that he still wasn't looking at him.
Finally, Kim looked at him. But the hope bubbling in his chest was put out completely when the only thing Kim said was "I'm sorry" before he brushed Chay off and walked away.

Though, I think Papa is mad at Uncle Steve for something. So there’s probably going to be a wrestling match. Which should be fine, as long as Uncle Jay doesn’t get involved. But that should be fine, too. Uncle Tonio and Matty, can usually keep things calm. Uncle Danny too, but he might be busy bickering at Uncle Steve. Maybe Uncle Kelly will talk about one of his arson cases? He did last time. But yeah, so much!”
