Summary

You weren’t sent here to fight this war. You were sent to make sure no one wins it.
And yet, somewhere along the way, you stopped knowing who 'you' wasWhen Catalyst, an advanced black box capable of dismantling nations without firing a shot, is stolen right from under the world’s nose, NATO’s 141 and KorTac are forced into an uneasy alliance to stop the world from collapsing. But embedded inside their fractured task force is an operative with no face, no name, and no side, only a mission:
ensure no one wins.
You are a double agent planted in 141 and KorTac's midst.

Summary
This wasn't how Pure Vanilla Cookie had intended his confrontation to go with the Beast of Deceit. He hadn't intended to become so emotionally intertwined with Shadow Milk Cookie. More over, he certainly hadn't planned to accidently press the two halves of the Soul Jams together. What a mess his short sightedness had created this time.
or, Pure Vanilla Cookie gets shoved back in time by billions of years. Back before the Beasts had defected and corrupted, back before the modern era. He has a rare chance now, one he cannot afford to falter and lose. Sure he had out maneuvered the Master of Deceit, but how can he possibly hope to win against the embodiment of all Knowledge?

between the devil and the deep blue sea: to be faced with a difficult decision between two equally unfavorable choices
.
In a universe where a third Leech sibling survives with memories of a much softer life, things are different, but not too different. In the end, villains are only people, too.or:
I looked at the symmetrical tweels and their fridge horror backstory and went ‘how would another even fit?’ Inspired by other Octavinelle relationship studies and TWST merfolk worldbuilding, as well as a general love for dark fairy tales.
