He was so, so hungry.
How long had it been already? He didn't know at this point. All he knew was that he should've died a long time ago.
What did he do to deserve this fate? All that time spent in the resistance, with his quirkless brothers and sisters, his comrades who had all been victims of quirk discrimination, and for what? They had failed. He had failed. The HPSC judge had laughed self-righteously as he read out his sentence- 1000 years in solitary confinement for the crime of daring to want a better life. A fitting fate for a quirkless boy such as he- Izuku grew up alone, and after he had finally found a community, he would die alone too.
But it didn't go according to their plan. Why did fate curse him with an immortality quirk? It had been what felt like hundreds of years, and he knew that one day he would see the outside world again, even if it meant he had to pick apart these walls piece by piece.
He never expected an alien cat to slice through the cell door with a laser cutter. Even more, he never expected these aliens to be so kind to him. Even if he was the last human alive, maybe he could find a community once more. Could these beings teach him what the word "hero" truly means?

Summary
"Humans are scary" is a statement that many beings would agree with. Normally, Izuku was at peace with this sentiment. However, what he was NOT at peace with was the fact that these shopkeepers were too scared to just sell him a god damn fuel valve. This was a MAJOR problem, because without a fuel valve his ship would not be able to fly. Maybe it was a good thing that his filtration mask covered his mouth, as he still forgot to keep his teeth behind his lips when attempting to be polite. Luckily, a hero who Izuku definitely did NOT want to pet (you have no evidence) gave him a helpful tip and a referral to a shop where he could maybe finally buy a valve. What Izuku DIDN'T expect to get from this shop was a stable job where he could actually put his technological knowledge to good use. After all, humans have to stick together, right?
This fic will make a lot more sense if you read my other fic, Packbonding with a Predator, as most of the species and terms were introduced there! There are a few key differences between this universe and that one, however.

Humans- The primitive, savage beasts that poachers across the universe were dying (quite literally) to get their claws on. The no contact order placed on their deathworld, Earth, was supposed to ensure that none would ever pass the fringes of their solar system. They hadn't reached deep-space travel (and probably never would), so the Hyperspace Public Safety Commission was fairly certain that their unimaginable strength and bloodthirsty ways were no threat to the universe at large.
So imagine H'zashi's surprise when he and his bondmate, Shouta, were placed in a cell with one after being captured by intergalactically wanted poachers. He just hoped his flock would get a funeral.
And yet how, even though everyone knew humans were unintelligent and vicious, could the purple furred human speak Common? Even more surprising were its first words.

Soon space stations were being used as schools for those who wanted to explore the galaxy. On a field trip through the solar system one of the classes is attacked and one of the students is kidnapped. This student's mom is a leading force in human interstellar travel and wastes no time in trying to locate her baby. Meanwhile, the student has to learn how to survive an alien environment while clearing up misconceptions along the way.

Summary
The Dresqill had been a planet of conquerors that plagued the solar system, colonizing planets and enslaving their inhabitants.
Until Oblivion. Or Terra, as it was later renamed by the Council. The Dresquill ventured into the distant solar system only to send back frenzied reports and distress signals. It's unclear if they were left to die on that planet or if they were simply exterminated before help could arrive, but the reports they sent were saved and served as a warning to avoid Oblivion.
Now traffickers have managed to capture two creatures from Oblivion, placing them in the same cells as the other prisoners in an attempt to torture them. But perhaps these beings have been misunderstood this whole time? They look like of cute-- Nope, they're deadly.
