She had made amazing work, she considered, at barely thinking about it in three and a half years. Besides, it was in the past. Done with. So it wasn’t like anyone had to know. The only other person aware of it had, after all, burned up in a ball of fire. Still, she had had to force herself last night not to take an endless scalding shower to rub the invisible shadows off her skin. She didn’t want to worry Catra even further."
Adora is determined to keep secret how Shadow Weaver hurt her all her life, but Catra knows something is wrong and is determined to help her out, even if the truth is too painful to hear.
