Bobby stared at the teenager on the front porch. The kid was soaked from the storm but he wasn't shivering. Blood ran down the front of his white t-shirt as he clutched at his front with both arms. A morbid shadow of a hug. The teen raised his head, raven black locks fell back to reveal his eyes.
His eyes were blue.
They reflected the light like a cat's eye.
He wasn't human.
Bobby raised his shotgun and took a steady aim. The creature with the face of a kid flinched backwards.
"Please, help me."

Summary
Danny is unable to speak anything but Ghost Speech after the accident, and they still sound like a baby. They mostly stay mute. After their parents overhear them using it, they get badly injured in the process of trying to escape. Wulf saves them, but the two of them end up in the DCU in the process.
In trying to take care of his injured friend, Wulf is seen all over the world. How long will it take until the two of them get help? How long will it take for them to heal?

Over the years, Bruce has fostered dozens of children, though they were all kept out of the limelight for their own protection. But the ones he worried about the most were the two that should have been his but weren't, were taken away, instead.
